Bluetooth isn't used with an adapter anyway.
Your phone or device should come with some Apple bluetooth software or something for your PC so you can transfer files via bluetooth which either ties the bluetooth connection into the brand name or is just more compatible, plus you would need a bluetooth activated PC and this software should be able to recognise the bluetooth connection.
You may need to buy some bluetooth hardware for your PC.
