How do I fight a handicapped parking ticket? I dont have a legit placard but...

...was picking up my ant who has one? I was picking up my ant this morning and was issued a ticket because I parked in a handicap spot. What should I do? Do I have a chance to get it dismissed?

My placard says that it is to be displayed when using a Handicapped spot. If the judge is reasonable and your Aunt goes with you and takes her placard you may have a chance. On the other hand I know that if a judge is not reasonable I could be fined for failure to display the placard without regard to whether or not I have one. My experience is with California Law and it may not apply in your state.
