I want to file share my user folders on a wireless local area network. For example, if my Vista user name was Bob, I would go to Computer, C, Users, then the folder Bob. What I want to know is how to share said Bob folder. When I go to the "Bob" folder properties and click on the share tab, the share button is grayed out. I have disabled password file sharing, yet on the share tab for that folder, it says that people without a user account and password cannot access this folder. What am I missing?

by the looks of it vista might want you to have a password setup in order to share folders... maybe u could also try sharing another folder to see if it works... also make sure your logged in with that user in order to share it as you may need that users security permissions... I don't really use vista as its the worst o/s ever in history since maybe i dunno ever... but yeah... also you could check out enable file sharing in vista on google as file sharing may be completely turned off... ? vista suck go back to xp and i found alot of troubles using vista and networking... one of the main reasons i just walked away :P

basically if i was there i could fix it but i'm not and i dont have all the details so best of luck
