How do I find out if my microphone jack is stereo or mono?

I got an amp with a recording out and I need to know what jack my computer is... I know my amp is a mono but I need the right cable so I need to know what my computers on is and Ive check the specs on the Acer website and it doesnt say what type.. how do i find out if its mono or stereo.
