how do i fix a dvd players lazer?

i have a dvd + vhs if you have a vhs you can record IT to the dvd but it says no dvd?
help ME!!!!!!!!
 
You can not repair the laser light on a DVD player. With the price of a dvd player being in the $50 you are better off buying a new one. Some of those combo player are made cheap and they don't last long. Hope this will help you out.
