How do i fix my sonic dvd plus?

A box keeps popping up saying it cant find the installation Package for my sonic dvd plus. Ive tried alot of things its just not here but i dont want to re move the program i want to fix it.
The program came with the computer and i have windows xp

Did the program come with your computer or did you purchase it separately? If it came with your computer, what is your operating system ie. XP, vista, windows 7, etc. If it came already installed with your computer when new, you might be able to re install it from a recovery partition.

Open Run and type Recovery Manager. See if you can find the same I described earlier
Or .. What is your computer manufacturer and model (CTRL ALT S)? I'll try to find detailed instuctions from the manufacturer for you.

Before un installing you might want to see if you can find the software listed on your computer following HP's instructions.
