Swing by the Service Department of your local Pontiac dealer and talk to one of the service guys that greets you when you pull in and he might give you tips and send you to the Parts Department for the right screws.
google it or buy a manual it will give step by step procedures on the whole car. on my vehickles its usually 3 screws from the inside. there should be a cover back side mirror pry plate off gently
