How do I fix up my 1997 Acura Integra GS-R?

I have a 97 Acura integra gsr and I wanna do a ton of stuff to it, but I don't know much about cars. So what should I get to start with for my car? I want to be really proud of my car and wanna take pride in it or whatever ha. What im doing now is getting new sound system and I'm spending about 500 probably. I just need help!
 
You just wasted 500 bucks. If you want performance you don't jam extra weight and electrical draw into the car because you'll start having problems first electrically then mechanically. Get a chilton and learn how a car works...or don't.
