How do I get internet upstairs for a blue ray player when my internet is downstairs?

I am trying to get my blue ray player hooked up to the internet upstairs but my blue ray player is not wireless. I also cannot set my internet up by my blue ray because I have no cable upstairs. Any devices where I could pick up a wireless signal upstairs and then plug it into my internet port on my blue ray?
