I work at a small social service agency and my director answers her personal cell phone all day long. It doesn't matter if she is in a meeting, having a business conversation with employees and or volunteers or whatever. We have all been embarrassed by her behavior. She will ask a volunteer a personal question and when her phone rings she will just walk away. Never apologizes or excuses herself just starts talking to her family. She probably receives 10-25 calls a day and sometimes talks for 10-30 minutes. If she leaves a meeting with you she will not seek you out to finish the business conversation. HELP!
