How do I get rid of cigarette smells from my bedroom?

My mom smokes alot. I have bad asthma and can't breathe when she smokes in the house. It's very cold outside, and she refuses to smoke out there. I can't get anywhere to buy febreeze, I don't have an air purifier, or any vinegar. Is there anything else I can do to get the smoke smell out of my bedroom? I have to work in the morning, and I can't get to sleep because I can't breathe. My chest hurts from the smoke, and there is absolutely no way to convince her to smoke outside. She smokes 4 packs a day, and has been smoking since she was 9 years old, and is 56 now. What can I do?

if ur house has any exhaust fans turn them on...it'll help with the ventilation and if u can open a window in a room that ur not in (so u dont feel cold - but still there will be some ventilation in the house) do so...i'm sorry to say knowing ur condition its really inconsiderate of your mom even though she's been smoking for such a long time :S best bet is for u to crank open ur window a little bit....atleast ur room wont be as smokey and just dress warm so u dont catch a cold

do you have vicks? tea tree oil? candles? try and keep your door shut so less smoke drifts in and tape up your doors , try your best to get her to smoke in a room furtherer from yours.. if you can buy some inside plants...that can also help... or open a window for a while to help get the air out.
