How do I make my LG EnV2 stop beeping when I text WITHIN a call?

I know this may be a little weird, but sometimes I will respond to text messages while I am on the phone with someone else (depending on who I'm on the phone with) but, as far as I can tell, there is no way to make the keypad not beep when I do that. I have turned the keypad volume all the way off, so it doesn't beep if I'm NOT in a call, but when I'm on the phone, the keypad beeps--loudly, with every keystroke. Yes, I know I can mute it so that the person on the other end can't hear it, but I can still hear it, and it's horrendously obnoxious. Is there any way I can fix this? I have an LG EnV2.
 
I have an EnV2 and i experience the same problem. Unfortunately, i've done all the research i can, and to no avail, there is no solution to this problem. I've learned to put up with the beeping. Sorry :/
