How do I open my jammed DVD drive?

My DVD drive for my computer is jammed. It will read the disc stuck inside of it, but when I press eject, it tries to open, but nothing happens. I have tried the paper clip into the hole method, but I cannot get that to work. Any tips on how to open it?

Get another disc if you have one preferably a scratched one as to not ruin the disc and put it in the gap and press eject then ease out the disc, works all the time for my Xbox.

use a very thin precision screw driver in the hole instead paperclips are to thin nowadays put it in straight not at an angle. Other wise take it out of the bay and clip the front off you should be able to free it like that.

A screw driver will do it and a flat head just in case a new dvd burner is only 25 dollars unless its blue ray.
