How do I put my Xbox 360 DVD drive into mode B?

Hi, Ive got a Samsung TS-H943A/ MCAH 6RDA101010 F/W=MS25 H/W:005 ver.a January 2006 Part Number X800473-016 its connected via sata and I need to know how to put it in modeb for it to show up on my computer can one help?? and this link didn't really help me is there any other way? Cheers
