How do I put ringtones from ventones.com on my Sprint LG Rumor?

I can create the ringtones and I can play them on the computer but I can't seem to put them in the right place on my phone for my phone to recognize them. Help!
I have looked at that list and done what it says, but I don't know how to change the file type! HELP please
