I don't really know the router/modem terminology, so if you could explain what I need it would be much appreciated. My ping usually fluctuates from 19ms-30ms and my jitter ranges from 4-10ms. I hear a lot of people saying that if you move your PS3 closer to your router/modem, the lag will go disappear, but I can't really do that as I'm about 2 rooms away from the router/modem which is about 5 metre away. I use the Ethernet cable from my computer for my PS3. We have broadband and there's 3 computers all up that use the router/modem netgear. I've heard people say there's nothing you can do about it, but I believe you can.
