How do I set the Motorola Droid screensaver?

When I try to set my own personal pictures as my screen saver, it doesn't fit. The Phone makes them look huge and you can not see the picture all at once. Do you know if there is a setting or app that will help with this? and let me see the whole picture at once with out having t Scroll through the other pages. Please help!
