How do I set up my Shaw email account on a Bell iPhone?

Boy do I feel your pain! Here is the info that I got, and hope that it is able to help others.

1.Make sure that your Wifi is turned off. In order to do this you have to be on the bell network.
2. go into settings and add account.
3. Tap "Other"
4. Tap " Add Mail Account"
5. Enter your Name, shaw email address, password, and decription of what you would like to call the account ( if you leave it blank, it will become your "Shaw" account
6. You will then see " Looking up your account information"
7. Next screen will show you Incoming and Outgoing. Here is the information that you are going to need.

Incoming:
Host Name: pop.shaw.ca
user name: the part before the @shaw.ca of your email address
password:

Outgoing: mail.1xbell.ca
User name: leave blank
password: leave blank

8.select done and you will see the never ending verifying (this can last up to 5 minutes so don't panic)

9.you will then have a pop up saying.. cannot connect to would you like to try SSL? Select "YES"

10. You should be done!

HELP! please

It says: The POP server "pop.shaw.ca" is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the "Incoming Mail Server" field.

my network connection is fine, so what's up?
