...in the DC, MD,& Northern VA Area? I was an upcoming junior at a 4 year university but I had to take a year off (however I cannot obtain my official transcript until my school bill is paid in full), while I took my break, I contemplated different careers, I was a former psych major. I knew I wanted to be in a field where I could help people & while researching careers on bls.gov, I felt as though a career in radiation therapy could be right for me.
Even though I've researched this occupation, I still wanna know how should I go about this, I've read about the 4 year universities that have programs in this field but I cannot get my official transcript!
I also read that I could do a 1-2 year program @ the schools that have commercials on TV but I'm not to sure about those , I dont know which one(s) are the best for this occupation, I'm afraid that if I do make a call to one of these schools they're gonna give me info on becoming a radiation tech & that's not what I want.
So my question is what is the best (school/program) way to start my career as a radiation therapist?
