how do i stop sims 3 from crashing? i have a packard bell easynote tj68?

i have a packard bell easynote tj68 and whenever i play sims 3, it takes forever to load. when it does load, it crashes almost immediately. this happens all the time! how do i stop this?
btw, please can you give me simple instructions as i am not a computer whiz!
i have a intel pentium processor t4500 and 3gb memory

Are you using mods? Cause if they aren't up to date with the current patch they can cause your game to slow down/crash to desktop.
 
the GPU that you have might not be supported by the game.

your GPU is an Intel GMA 4500M

try updateing the graphics drivers by finding the drivers for your graphics card on the intel website.
