How do I upload a video longer than 30 seconds from my cellphone to computer.?

i have a env3 and i have the thing that plugs into your computer. when i plug it in, it only gives me the option to get music on there. no option for a video to get it on my laptop. help please. phone only lets me send 30 seconds or less to my computer and i have a six minute video i want on my laptop.
idk if this helps but my laptop is a toshiba.
 
1. Connect your phone to your computer. 2. Go to my computer. 3.Find your phone.4. Right click your phone, then select explore. 5. Select my flix or my videos.6. Find your video and drag it to your computer.
 
If you have a usb cord, that will help. You can upload anything from your phone onto your computer with one of those
