How do i use my internet without disable my security?

I will not be able to use my Internet unless my security is disable, the connection of the modern is fine, but it the browsers that doesn't load the page if my security is not disable. The two browser that i have are Internet Explorer and FireFox. I was wonder if there might be something wrong with the browser or my computer might have virus. What can I do to fix it or remove the virus do that I don't have to disable my security in order for me to use the Internet.
 
Try - Go to Tools -> Options -> security -> change the security level
