...User Mode.? I want to check my Mac's logs while booting from my 10.4 install DVD. I'm having trouble locating my internal HD once started up in Single User Mode (from OS DVD). Is this even possible? The /Volumes directory is empty…won't show anything. If I'm booted from my internal HD, I can see multiple options in the /Volumes directory.
It seems to me that there must be a way to mount my internal HD from the DVD as the DVD is created to install the OS and has to choose a drive to install on.
