i have a amp that has 2 channels and a 600w rms subwoofer
my amp says it has 275w rms x2 i do not want to run any other speakers off the amp
how do i wire my sub to the amp so that the full 550w rms of the amp is going into the sub?

well the best way is to bridge the amplifier the amp has 2 channels hint 2 sets of pos and neg speaker hook ups so take a positive from one side and a negative from the other side this should do the trick but make sure your amp can be bridged...
but it all depends on how Your amp is setup some amps are different...
