How do people find enjoyment in hunting?

I just don't understand how people can think it is fun to kill a poor innocent creature. they have feelings and they can feel pain and suffer and they do suffer because of heartless humans. Hunting is a cruel and heartless act and anyone who believes in it does not believe in kindness. IT IS NOT FUN TO KILL SOMEONE. No one should. How would you feel if you were them? and if you say oh i just do it for the food, for heaven sakes go to the grocery store and buy food, you don't have to murder someone.

It is enjoyable because it is man returning to the wilderness and yes a animal will most likely give its life...but that is what they are here for, FOOD, yes they are dieing but it is for food. The meat you get at the grocery store died in fear and in a terrible way...the animals that die in the woods die quike and usually dont even know they got shot.

Where do you think all that meat comes from in the grocery store. Do you think all those animals died in there sleep of old age?

Whats worse one man harvesting one animal for his family to eat, or millions of them being breed just for slaughter.

Hunting (legally) is carefully monitored by the Division of Natural Resources. They issue a number of hunting licenses that they think will keep certain animal populations under control. This prevents starvation in animals as well as disease that is caused by too large a population & not enough healthy food/water. With not enough food they relocate & end up in gardens & farmer's fields much more often which hurts farmers livelyhoods & drives your grocery costs up. Therefore, you, your pets & wild animals that may frequent your yard are less likely to carry & contract diseases & you can still afford groceries. The fact that most respectable hunters also eat their animal is just a bonus. By the way.. my kills go to families that can't afford food.. an extra bonus!

do you think that the meat you buy in grocery stores comes from animals that weren't killed? of course not.

animals who are killed in the wild at least got to have a real life. they weren't bunched into inhumane pens with barbed wire, and then marched to slaughter. plus, hunters take precautions to ensure a clean kill, and make the process as painless as possible. conversely, "grocery store animals" get holes drilled into their skulls.

there's no such thing as a humane way to take a life. but within the spectrum, hunting isn't bad.

also: unless you HAVE killed someone, you have no basis for saying that it isn't fun.

if you think about most animals end up dying from being hunted by another animal anyway, and have you ever seen a deer get kiled by a wolf or fox, its the mst brotal thing ive ever seen, being shot by a gun seems better to me then laying there getten eaten alive, plus freash meat teaste better then store bought aand its also a good time with friends(if you go with friends)
