My computer connected to the internet via the router fine until my bro connected using his laptop, now it will connect for a couple minutes (if i'm lucky), or it will connect to the router but not the internet, or it won't connect to the router at all.
When it does connect to the internet, if I try going on a website it says something along the lines of "Website could not be found" or "Page contains no data".

Thanks in advance for any help, this is doing my head in lol.
It's my computer that isn't connecting, my brother can connect using his laptop and it's fine :/

hmm

i depends

i´m not sure if you mean you´ll be lucky if the computer will connect, or if the laptop will...

¿or both?

anyway

go on your bros laptop, go on wireless, click never automatically connect to this wirless signal

then reconnect.

just keep trying that =*

sorry i couldn´t be more help, but i´m in a computer shop and i have 30 secs left

If you are using a router you should use automatic configuration by DHCP. What you are observing happens if you have assigned the same static IP to each PC. Automatic configuration avoids these conflicts.
