old) to a DVD player? Hi, I found an old tv from 1981 and i want to see if i can connect it to my dvd player. I thought i could easy to do this but it seems much trickier as the tv doesn't have anything on the back to hook cables into only rabbit ears and four little metal circles connected with wires leading into the rabbit ears that say UHF and VHF. I went into walmart and they recommended an RF modulator however after reading the instructions on the back of the modulator i don't know how i would connect "a standard cable" to the tv as there is nothing to connect to on the back of the tv. Is there any hope or should i just chuck the tv and hope another free one comes my way? Cheers!

Well you can't unfortunately. It's like an over-the-air TV. An RF modulator can only be useful if the TV at least had coax cable connections...

I'd still keep the TV though.... wouldn't throw it away
