how do you delete browsing history on your ps3 for the internet?

i have a lot of browsing history on my ps3 on the internet and my friends keep saying that the more browsing history i have on there, the slower my system will go. so is there a way to delete browsing history?
 
It won't slow down your internet.

And if you screw around in the settings on the main XMB, there is a little option that says "Delete Predictive Text Entry". I just don't remember where..
 
Press triangle when your on the web browser and you will see history, go down to history then press triangle and it will say delete all history.
