I have a VW Jetta 2002 manual and i just started learning and i got the basics down im still trying to get used to getting the switching of gears smooth but i'm not bad. I just have a problem with downshifting because i can properly do it nor do i know how to do it the right way. I always put it in neutral and cruise on the brake which i know is the wrong way because i should downshift easing my use of the brake pedal. Can someone explain to me how to downshift the right way?? Thank you!
