How do you remove scratches off of cell phones?

I have the Samsung Intercept smartphone. IDK but somehow the part of the phone, where it slides, got scratched due to the case. My question is what can I use to remove that scratch? Not how to remove screen scratches, but the main plastic base? Much Appreciated! =D
