How do you upgrade your iOS?

Hi I have an iPhone 4 and I would like to know how to update the iOS. Now before you guys start thinking "seriously?? You don't know how to update?" stop and keep reading. Since iOS 5.0.1 is out, I want to know how to upgrade to iOS 5 without going to 5.0.1. Is that possible?

5.0.1 is ios 5 so there is no avoiding it. And there is no reason to. ios 5.0.1 works perfectly well for 99.1% of customers. All you have to do is plug your phone into itunes and press the update button. Enjoy!
