...charged for data usage? I just got the toshiba satellite and want to use the internet freely but have to tight a budget. When purchased it I also got the verizon broadband device for mobile connectivity but it is 35 bucks a month for only 3gb of data and then extra charges for overage. I heard that you can use a cell as a modem to get around it and use the internet without racking up the extra charges, is this possible? I was planning on getting the droid incredible phone through verizon. can I use this? and how? thanks in advance for any assistance.

Droid phone support internet tethering, this is where they share a connection via usb phone - pc. This is easy to setup (well i am an ipohne user and it is a metter on selcting enable internet tethering.) should be something similar on the droid. However it is not free on 02 in the uk i tihnk its like £8-9 a month so in us maybew $15 in not sure but if you call verizon they can give you a free trail i got a 3 month 3 trail while i worked something out for another solution. Although you will want an alert setup for when the trial expires as you might forger and they will charge you for it...
