how does a bluetooth usb dongle work?

hey
i have a bluetooth dongle but i dont know how it works.
i have some pictures on my phone [LG Viewty] which i want to send to my laptop.
is it possible to send pictures to laptop from phone?

When you insert the dongle to your PC, it will recognize it and start installing the drivers. If the drivers are not present and you have internet connection, it will search the internet to download and install the correct drivers. If this doesn't work, you will need to manually find the drivers from the dongle manufacturer's site and install them.

Once the dongle is setup properly, you will then need to pair you phone with the PC. This will be similar to how you pair two phones in bluetooth. Once pairing is done, you can transfer pictures from laptop to phone or vice versa.
