How does IM on a RIM Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220 (T-Mobile) work?

Well, it's basically $59.99 a month for unlimited minutes, unlimited messaging and unlimited IM.

I am really just interested in Windows Live Messenger, would I be able to use this in my
Blackberry for the $59.99 or would I have to pay extra in order to access something like this. I am aware about wifi, but I mean literally unlimited use, wherever I get service.

However, the RIM Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220 does not support 3G networks, therefore I am confused as to what type of internet service I would have to purchase.

I would appreciate if someone could clarify.

I have the Blackberry tour 9630 and it works with Windows live messenger. It even comes with an icon. It took 30 seconds to set up. If you want to get a Blackberry with Sprint I can port over your number, help with your cancellation fees and get the Blackberry for only $50. this phone works on 3G and has free roaming and works around the world.
