First of all, my CD player in my car does NOT have an aux input. I heard there is a way to hook up an iPod to a car stereo system though. I have subwoofers and an amplifier in my car. I would like to know exactly what I would need to buy in order to hook my iPod to my car stereo system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well to do it the right way you need to look for a Faceplate, or deck. These can range from 95$ for a basic one with a aux jack to 1300 with a full flip out dvd and navigation system. Go to Crutchfield.com and look at their "outfit your car" section and look at the face plates you can put in your car. 99% of the new ones will have an ipod input, and they are the clearest ways to make your ipod play through your car stereo.

you would have to get an fm transmitter.. dont do it they are a waste of money because the sound quality is terrible, no matter what you get and how much you spend

They make a device that looks like a tape cassette but has a wire on it that sticks out of the radio when inserted in the radio. The other end plugs into the earphone jack hole in the Ipod. They only cost around $15 at Radio Shack or stores like it.

Does your radio have a CD *and* a cassette tape?
