How fast is T-Mobile's 4G / 3G service?

Let's say I want to stream a Netflix movie on the phone. Will it stream just fine on both services?

How about using their phones as mobile hotspots? Could I watch that Netflix movie on my laptop and have it stream well with 4G or 3G?
OK, several say 4G is very fast. How about the 3G for when I hit my limit? Fast enough for normal computing and Netflix streaming?

4G works well but even with unlimited service, your speed is cut once you hit 5 somethings...GB I think.

I use my hotspot for my ps3, paying $30 a month for unlimited service (when the local cable company offers truly unlimited for $20) and TMobile cuts my speeds a good 15 days before the new cycle. Full speed for half a month.

I'm canceling my service this month even though it will cost $200.

Also, Tmobiles service slowed down...November? When AT&T bought them out to use their 4G towers.

Edit: 4G used to be very fast. Used to be.

I don't think 3G will be fast enough to hotspot stream. I haven't had 3G in over a year so I don't know for sure.
