How good are Jeep Grand Cherokee's for deer hunting?

I am looking to get a new vehicle, I used to have a pickup truck but it killed me on gas, I also need something with more room than the cab of a pickup. I do a lot of hunting and fishing, as well as a lot of other outdoor things like off roading. Does anyone else use their grand cherokee for these things?
