Eat a lot of fruit and veggies, drink plenty water and take multi vitamin. in 1 week you must: run 5km daily, skipping 30 mins daily, light weight training 2 hours daily, 300 push up daily, 300 crunches daily, kata, 10 mins sparring daily.

I know Kempo since it is one of the main arts I have done for several decades. I have a problem with you comments that the test is mainly cardio. Cardio conditioning is fine. The problem is that it has almost nothing to do with the ability to defend yourself. It also has nothing to do with a persons knowledge, ability, or understanding of what they have been taught. I am very suspect of any instructor in any style that makes endurance, cardio or any other non martial arts subject part of promotion to rank.

water and electrolytes to replenish your bodies loss. and maybe a few crackers with salt to help retain water and stay hydrated... you really should not eat anything heavy at all ... good luck.
