How is a Suzuki Boulevard S40 for a starter bike?

I'm male, 5'6 and 138 pounds, and will this be good for a first bike or should I get something else?

Good enough place to start if you feel comfortable on one.
They have a rather low seat but at 5'6" it depends on your inseam and the width of your butt for getting both feet down flat at a Stop.
The bike also has a low center of gravity which is a good thing for a beginner and the engine has an easy to use torque range.

For your size and weight, the Boulevard S40 (Also known as the 650 Savage) is a good first bike.
