How is owning your BMW?

I'm thinking about buying one of the following

05' BMW 525i
06' BMW 330xi, or 330i
07' BMW 328i, xi, coupe
or the special edition 2002 BMW X5 4.6is

in a special case the 2003 BMW Z4, love the first gen Z4.

Help me pick one

Tell me everything about owning one, the cost, reliability, fun of driving it, compliments, etc. And what kind do you own?
Which one will last me the longest? without huge repairs. Which one won't?
 
I've got a '08 745Li myself, and I've found it's really reliable (up to the 40k miles I've driven it). I've also driven the X5 you've mentioned (I think same year) and I was considering buying it, and I heard nothing but good about it. I don't really care for the Z4 personally (kinda overpriced for what you get plus I don't really like the styling, plus it's VERY cramped), but the 525i and the 330xi are nice machines. Personally, I would go for the 330xi as a fun car, but for an all-purpose grocery-shopping transporter, I'd choose between the 525i and the X5. Good luck, and make sure you compare included packages as well. As far as cost, the 525i and the X5 will cost you the most, but they seem to be the most reliable, but the others are certainly not bad. A friend of mine has an 07 330xi, and he hasn't had any problems with it so far.
