How is Xmas music played on a secular radio station different from Xmas music

played to Christian radio statio? n?
I typed Xmas instead of Christmas because I didn't have enough room to type the whole question if I typed out "Christmas"

It is all very annoying to me. I don't listen to much on the radio, and even less this time of year. I know it is the dominant culture, and it is certainly good for business, but it is a constant reminder that I am a stranger here in the country of my birth.

Someone please tell Sarah that people type "Xmas" because they are lazy and don't want to spell out the whole word.

Kind of like typing "r u" instead of "are you".

Not everything in this world is a conspiracy to destroy Christmas as we know it.

As for the main topic, I suppose you have more "joke" songs on regular radio, you know, like funny versions of the Twelve Days of Christmas, whereas on Christian radio, the mood is somber and respectful. (And, truthfully, kinda boring. I like the Chipmunks and Grandma getting run over by a reindeer.)

First of there isn't a difference. Music is ok to listen to as long as it's appropriate, speaking that you are a Christian. Or if you listen to it for the beats and not the words. I would assume you are Christian because if you weren't you wouldn't care about this question. And another thing, if you are Christian and typing "Xmas" instead of "Christmas", I will pray for you. Why would you ask such a question?

The Christian station is going to play the 'traditional' tunes, where the secular will grab anyone and everyone, including novelty tunes as well
