How long after does it take to pass a nicotine test?

I quit smoking January 15th cold turkey. I do still get some exposure to smoke as my room mate still smokes. I believe I am being offered a job at a good company, however they do a nicotine test and will not hire smokers. Will I be able to pass the nicotine test? I believe the test is either urine or saliva.
 
before you take the employment nicotine test, TELL the company that you are an EX smoker, and that your roommate smokes, and proud of yourself that you quit. This way, if the test reveals residue of nicotine, they will not think you lied.
