How long do u need left on a uk passport to travel to canary islands, main

land Spain or balerics ? I am traveling soon and do not know if I need to fast track this service for a new passport for my daughter or it will be ok to travel with 2 months left on it.
 
6 Months. A passport renewal will take around 2 weeks, also they add the time left from the old passport onto the new one. She will be refused entry with 2 month remaining.
