How long does it take for nicotine to leave your system?

4 weeks ago I had 3 cigarettes. They weren't all on the same day. One was on a Tuesday the other one was on wednsday and the third one was on the next week. I had a blood test last week and I was wondering if it would show up on there or something? How long does it take for nicotine to leave your system?

It takes 72 hours for nicotine to leave your system. However, nicotine won't show up in a normal blood test anyway. If they are specifically looking for it, maybe- but I've never heard of a doctor running a blood test to check for nicotine.
