How long does it take LULU to publish your book and for it to appear on Amazon?

I've got into writing and was advised here before to try lulu.com because it is an efficient book publishing service, although the costs vary based on what package you choose.

What I would like to know is, once you have submitted your work and made the payment, how long before an 'e-version' is available, and then how long before it would appear on Amazon?

I don't know that Amazon will sell any old book that is not published by an actual publishing house...I could be wrong
