How long does nicotine stay in your blood for?

My mother found out that i smoke and shes going to start testing me

i quit for 9 days then had a roll up
the next day i had a fw tokes of a role up
and the day after that i had half a mayfair
i did not have any the day after that and i wont for a long time

my mother says that the DIY test says weather youv been smoking for 10 days
is this true??
she could spring it on me any time:/

how do i cheat the test
or
how long does it take to get nicotien out of you pee
or
can you speed up the process

NO smart ansers like
dont smoke
or
tell you mum you smoke and smoke a zoot
or something clever

The half life of nicotine is 2 hours. Then its level tapers. However, there is no test to detect after a lapse of 10 days. Though you won't like it my advise is to somehow stop smoking which harms both respiratory and cardiac functions of a person. In addition you are subjecting the people around to passive smoking though they are innocent bystanders.
