How long til I'm in shape, great workout/healthy eating ideas?

I used to be an athlete, but I stopped truly exercising about 4/5 years ago. I still have some "tone" to my body, I'm 5'7, female, I am 19, I weigh 129 lbs.
I'd like to weigh 120, I want to be tone, and in excellent shape!!!
I went running this afternoon, and could barely run 1/2 a mile, it was awful!

How long until I can run 2 miles no problem? Good workout tips? Good workouts? Healthy eating tips? Food ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated!
 
Well if you want to be "toned" you need to follow a schedule
like
monday--running
tuesday-crunches
wednesday-weight lifting ((even if there ten punds)) weight lifting helps your heart rate
do squats to tone thighs;; dont do crunches everyday because your stomach will feel overwelmed and back fire. You can run everyday though. Workout 5 out of the 7 days of the week it good to have two days of rest not in a row though;; if ou rich enough you can hire a personal trannier
