how many gallons of paint do i need to paint my 97 dodge neon?

its a small car, i have already sanded it and primed it, now i am painting it black?
 
To answer your question based on a two stage system with a 2 to 1 ratio, you will need 1/2 gallon of color, 1/2 gallon of clear plus hardener, 2 Gallons of Medium reducer. You won't use it all, but you're better off have more than you need rather than not enough.
 
First off a gallon of paint is for houses or barns,You have to buy spray paint in cans that Is made for cars.If it is a small car always allow extra
cans of spray paint just in case you miss a spot.What you don't use u can take back to the store.
