I keep getting mixed answers, so i really need help and hope that apple store will replace it. Also if they did replace t for any reason, will they replace it on the spot.

This is a side note: If you can't get your phone replaced, you may still be able to fix it. Here's how.

1) Try to get it replaced before you do his, as this will void your warranty even more. This is a last resort.

2) Get some distilled water and completely submerge your phone in it. (if you can get it open, remove the battery)

3) Change the water out every 2-3 hours. Do this for a total of 10-12 hours.

4) Allow 48 hours to dry.

This often works because most water damage to electronics isn't caused by water, but is caused by the impurities in the water, or whatever liquid your phone was in. Rinsing like this brought my RAZR back to life.

well i personally havent but there is a video on youtube from SoldierKnowsBest, and got it replaced for some reason
