How many watt stereo system do I need for a good party?

I recently bought a good sized stereo system online, hasn't come yet though so I don't know how loud it is, but I was wondering if it seems like it would be good for a party. It has a seperate subwoofer and four main speakers and then a main unit. All together its 530 watts. Should this be enough?
